Our good friends, Chet & Amy, invited us to go with them to see a friend of theirs perform at a local winery in Washington, Missouri. It was about a three hour drive, but we needed to get out and relax for the day, so we tagged along.
The performance was at Triple 3 Vineyard. Triple 3 is a vineyard with a beautiful event center just a short drive from downtown Washington, Missouri. They offer their own handcrafted wine that can be enjoyed by the glass or by the bottle. They have a nice kitchen that prepares a variety of salads, flatbreads, and sandwiches as well as a great charcuterie board. Their tasting room plays host to live music that you can enjoy while you sip great wine and eat delicious food.
If you find yourself in the need of a wedding venue, they can accommodate. They have a magnificent layout with plenty of room to host a large wedding and reception. They are also in the middle of a huge expansion that will provide even more space. Triple3 Vineyard

Taylor Feighery
The Tasting Room, while a beautiful setting, can be tough for live music. Its high, vaulted ceiling and wide open spaces are not acoustically friendly and can be a challenge for musicians. Taylor Feighery didn’t let that stop her.
Taylor beautifully performed all the traditional small venue classic covers, but she clearly saved her best for last. Her last song was Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah. AND SHE NAILED IT!!
When she first started, there was still some chatter in the back of the room, but soon the only thing heard in the room was the soft strum of her guitar and her voice powerfully belting out the chorus. She had such amazing control of her voice with near pitch-perfect tone. Flawless! She gave a commanding performance that would certainly rival Jeff Buckley’s (or any other) covers.
If you get the chance to see Taylor perform, take it. I promise you will not be disappointed!
